Flour

Flour is a powder made by grinding cereal grains, beans, seeds or roots. Flour from wheat is the most many sided and there are lots of different types. Plain flour does not have a leavening agent and can be used for cakes, cookies bread and pizza. Self-raising flour is plain flour mixed with baking powder. It can be used for biscuits and muffins. It can be kept in a cool dry place.
