The other day I was talking to my 5 years old girl how God created the earth and humans to take care of the creation.

"And God blessed them, and God said unto them: Grow and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and over the fowls of the air, and over all the beasts that move on the earth." - Moses 1:28

Like in every tradition or religion the special days are marked with special attention in other words festivals. Jews have many festivals both religious and secular. Among them the most important one is quite frequent. It is the Sabbath.

We can make a statement concerning Jews and history: it is important for us! “Remember…” we can read so many times in our Holy Scripts. Roots, ancient history, our culture and of course our cooking is important. It tells us something about us, Jews. In this sense looking back to Biblical times is always full of nostalgia. Those were the glorious days!
